Do you think anyone will ever break the record of 16 World Title Reigns. The only people that are really close are
Sting and HHH. HHH is prolly leaving soon, he might get 1 more reign, and I think this will be Stings last. If he keeps winning belts alot, Cena might do it.

Cena may have a chance if he gets a couple of those 1-3 month reigns again.

He's 34. So if he even gets One per year until he's 40, he could easily do it.

Kurt Angles also not that far off, but he's like 42.

Is the TNA belt considered "world"?

Yeah. TNA, NWA, ROH, WWE, and WHC are the current ones.

Cena has the best chance of doing it. Kurt Angle won't be around for much longer and Triple H is now a behind the scenes guy only after being promoted last year. Although, his ego may get the better of him and he could give himself a few reigns just to beat Flair's number of reigns.

I guess what I was getting at is, WWE only recognize his WWE & WCW reigns.
If we count everything else it's 21 reigns.
So should we be counting NWA, TNA, RoH and whatever else aswell?

Well NWA was around before any o them, so we should count that for sure.

Jeff Jarrett is also close Isn't he i believe he has around 11


Edit: Interesting Note Within TNA, he is currently recognized as an 11-time world champion, having been a six-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion, four-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, and one-time AAA World Heavyweight Champion. He has also accumulated five additional world title reigns, being a three-time USWA Unified World Heavyweight Champion and two-time WWA World Heavyweight Champion. Making him a Sixteen Time World Champion overall.

Like I said, I would only count, NWA, WWE, WHC, TNA, and WCW. Maybe ECW.

Like five of Flair's reigns aren't recognized by NWA, and were only recognized by WCW to avoid recognizing his WWF reigns.

TECHNICALLY, every reign during and before CM Punk's reign counts as a World Title.

Well Yeah, Like Bigh Show, RVD, and Lashley regins were all pretty legitimate, and it seemed everyone cared about ECW then. But after Punk lost it too Chavo, it just became stupid.

There is way more recognized world championships than what you guys are acknowledging .. I think if it's defended on two or more continents (maybe countries?) it's recognized.

What you're saying is absolutely ridiculous! You can't pick and choose which reigns to count and which not to, if it's a recognized world title then you count all the reigns and if it's not a recognized world title then you don't count any of them. It's like me saying "I don't like Hulk Hogan so I'm not going to count any of his reigns", it's a joke. And anyway, the WWE ECW title was never a world title anyway.
