Troy Davis Executed.

Troy Davis, a man who was denied a retrial despite the fact that 7 of the 9 "witnesses" that testified in the first trial have recanted and 3 people who said that he confessed to them admitted that they lied. his time of death: 11:08 PM EST (about 17 minutes after i posted this). both the Pope and former president Jimmy Carter has requested clemency, but fell apart in the georgia board of pardons, who denied him clemency.

7 of 9 witnesses in the case -> recanted <-(take back the statement yeah?)
3 of them lied
and yet he STILL got killed for something he may not have done?...

There was WAY to much evidence to not kill the piece of shit. I'm glad he got it. Fucker deserved it for what he did.

I have never believed in the death penalty myself, glad we don't have it over here.

There was WAY to much evidence to not kill the piece of shit. I'm glad he got it. Fucker deserved it for what he did.

there were way too many inconsistancies in the case that they should have at least give him a retrial. when such big names are saying that this case is a shame, and many are calling for death penalty reform, at least grant a retrial. now, i am all for the death penalty. i believe that if you kill someone, you deserve to be killed. but i also believe that it should be proved beyond a shadow of a doubt. he was found guilty because of 12 people testifying, 10 of which are changing their story. if 2 eyewitnesses were all that the prosecution had, troy davis would prbably have been found not guilty. but because he couldn't prove that he was innocent (which is bs that he had to prove his innocense) he was not granted a retrial
