"Ladies and Gentlemen, Welcome to World Wrestling Entertainment, The Way It Should Be!”
WELCOME
It's back! It's back! Oh God Almighty, It's Back! That's right. WWE TWISB is back and it's better than ever! Two great minds, Karl and SP have once again returned one of the most iconic bookers in the history of The Universe. The forth time is the charm. At first, the claim was for TWISB to return for nothing but a WrestleMania reunion, but then things went smoother than expected. SP and Karl decided that this time, TWISB would be bigger and better than ever. This time, things will be different. This time, TWISB will go to new, higher places. This time, TWISB goes ONE YEAR. Ladies and Gentlemen, this is our creation! This is what is going to lay all other bookers to rest. Jigsaw, RED, watch out because TWISB is back and it's better than ever!

HALL OF FAME

WWE are proud to present the next inductee into the Hall Of Fame class of 2013: British Bulldog. The British Bulldog is, perhaps, one of the most well gifted and talented superstars to ever step foot in the WWE ring. The success of Davey Boy Smith ranges from Tag Team success with both the Dynamite Kid and Owen Hart to success at Intercontinental Championship level. Davey Boy Smith is considered to be one of the men who should have been a World Champion but never quite made it. Despite never reaching the very top of the mountain, Smith is still considered a legend among wrestling fans and his memory will live on forever. It is with great pleasure that the WWE welcome The British Bulldog to the WWE Hall Of Fame class of 2013.

WRESTLEMANIA
AIRS: SUNDAY, APRIL 14th 2013
DURATION: FOUR HOURS
NETWORKS: ONLY ON PAY-PER-VIEW
THEME SONG: SURRENDER - ANGELS & AIRWAVES; I'M COMING HOME - DIDDY DIRTY MONEY;

PRE-SHOW: UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP
Antonio Cesaro (c) versus Kassius Ohno
When Kassius Ohno made a huge impact after debuting in the Royal Rumble, Ohno was able to eliminate the United States Champion, Antonio Cesaro. Following this, Cesaro would go on to NXT to challenge Ohno in numerous match, many of which would end in a No Contest. Come Elimination Chamber, Cesaro defended against Number One Contender, Sin Cara only to retain the United States Championship. Ohno would show up and on the following RAW the challenge was set. Ohno versus Cesaro for the United States Championship at WrestleMania! Leading up to WrestleMania, Ohno would appear on RAW, as the two would look to upstage the other. Finally, at WrestleMania the score will be settled when Kassius Ohno gets his shot against Antonio Cesaro for the prestigious United States Championship.

MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH
Wade Barrett versus Brodus Clay versus Kofi Kingston versus Shelton Benjamin versus Christian versus Mark Henry versus Chris Jericho versus Big E Langston
After it was announced that at WrestleMania the Money in the Bank Ladder Match would return, many superstars scurried to make and impact and get a spot in the bout. Wade Barrett was able to win a battle royal to secure him a spot. Shelton Benjamin defeated R-Truth to take a spot in the bout after he returned in the Royal Rumble Match. Christian returned on an episode of Smackdown to team with Chris Jericho. The two were able to defeat Primo and Epico to score themselves a spot. Brodus Clay and Kofi Kingston would earn their ways in on RAW. Mark Henry made a statement by attacking Rey Mysterio, causing Booker T to end the match and place him in the bout. Big E Langston would then defeat Dolph Ziggler on an edition of Monday Night RAW to score himself the match. 8 Men Enter but only one man will stay standing and walk out being named Mr. Money in the Bank!

TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TURMOIL
Team Hell No (c) versus Team CoBro versus Epico & Primo versus 3MB (Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater) versus Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara versus The Prime Time Players versus Team Rhodes Scholars
When Team Hell No set a WrestleMania challenge against any team in the back, people were stunned when 6 other teams joined them in the ring. Team Hell No wanted every team to prove that they were the best. This would bring out Booker T and Vickie Guerrero to announce that at WrestleMania, a Gauntlet styled Turmoil would be held for the Tag Team Championship! The last team standing will leave WrestleMania with the Tag Team Championships!

6-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
The Shield [Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins] versus Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus & Randy Orton
At the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber, The Shield made a big statement when they not only eliminated Randy Orton from the Rumble but also attacked Del Rio and Orton inside the Elimination Chamber Match. From the lead up to WrestleMania, The Shield would continue these attacks, until finally Del Rio, Randy Orton and the addition of Sheamus were able to get the numbers they needed to even the odds. After the two teams began a huge brawl on RAW, Vickie Guerrero made the match official and come April 14th, The Shield will look to get their first WrestleMania win against three of the biggest Superstars in the WWE.

THE MATCH TO END THE RIVALRY
Dolph Ziggler with AJ Lee versus John Cena
For months, Dolph Ziggler and John Cena have been at each others throats. Following Elimination Chamber, Dolph Ziggler would attack John Cena on RAW sending a message that he was going to be the new face of the WWE. John Cena would set the challenge in the following weeks and finally Dolph Ziggler would answer the call. Man versus Man, come WrestleMania! It was official! But after announcing on Smackdown that Dolph Ziggler will be coming home, John Cena may have to watch The Show Off, as he is out to prove that he is going to be the future of the WWE! He's here to show the world. John Cena and Dolph Ziggler will finally collide one versus one on April 14th

DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP
Kaitlyn (c) versus AJ Lee
Ever since Kaitlyn won the Divas Championship, AJ Lee has been out to get her. For the past month, AJ Lee and Kaitlyn have been going back and forth in all out brawls. Finally, come WrestleMania the two ex-best friends will face off in what will be a phenomenal match. Kaitlyn will defend her Championship against AJ Lee, where only the best Divas will remain standing.

NO HOLDS BARRED; SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE MATCH
Brock Lesnar with Paul Heyman versus Shawn Michaels; Triple H is the Special Guest Referee
After Brock Lesnar broke the arm of Shawn Michaels, HBK has been hell bent on getting his revenge. After coming to RAW and pleading for a match at WrestleMania with Brock Lesnar, Triple H would deny it. So, HBK went to Vince McMahon himself and convinced The Chairman to give him the match, but on one condition. Triple H was to be named the Special Guest Referee and Paul Heyman may set the stipulation. After everything was agreed, Heyman would set the match to be No Holds Barred. Lesnar vowed to break the arm of Shawn Michaels again. Come WrestleMania an all out war will come to an end. The Heart Break Kid takes on The Beast!

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP; TABLES MATCH
Big Show (c) versus Ryback
When Ryback won the Royal Rumble, he announced that he would go after the World Heavyweight Championship. Ryback would continue to dominate the WWE atleast until The Big Show won the Elimination Chamber Match. Ryback has never faced The Big Show and after Big Show was able to beat the clock and name the stipulation to be a Tables Match, Ryback will have to face the biggest challenge of his life when he collides with The Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship! FEED ME MORE! or KNOCK ME OUT!?

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Miz (c) with Ric Flair versus CM Punk with Paul Heyman
When The Miz shocked the world and won the Elimination Chamber Match to become the new WWE Champion, he knew that he would have to defend at WrestleMania. CM Punk would revoke his rematch clause and challenge The Miz at WrestleMania. The Miz - would couldn't deny the match - would ask Ric Flair to help him prep for WreslteMania and thats exactly what they did. Come April 14th, CM Punk looks to take back what he thinks is rightfully his, while the Miz looks to prove a point, that he is a fighting champion!

THE STREAK VERSUS THE CONTENDERSHIP
The Undertaker versus The Rock
When The Undertaker returned at Elimination Chamber, he cost The Rock the chance to become the WWE Champion. The Rock vowed on RAW that he would become Number One Contender again and take home the WWE Championship, but that was until The Undertaker would return to RAW. The Undertaker announced that he hasn't had the chance to take on anyone as big as The Rock, and this year .. The Undertaker was to put The Rock to Rest in Peace. The Undertaker would put his Streak on the line at WrestleMania against The Peoples Champion, but only on one condition. The Rock needed to put something on the line too. The Rock decided to put his WWE Championship shot on the line. If The Rock wins, The Streak ends. But if The Undertaker wins, The Rock may never challenge for the WWE Championship ever again. Come WrestleMania, these two men who defined an era will square off in the middle of the ring. One man's career will be put down, but who will it be? The Undertaker? or The Rock?!

“Then. Now. Forever.”
April 19th 2013

BORN 2 RUN!

[Smackdown comes on the air with pyro exploding all over the stage. The Boston, Massachusetts fans jump to their feet in cheers, holding up multiple signs; the majority of which are concerning this past Sunday night’s Wrestlemania XXIX PPV. The camera cuts to the commentary booth where Josh Mathews sits with JBL by his side. The two welcome us to the show before the camera whips round to the ring for the show getting underway.]

IF YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN’!

[The entire crowd in the TD Garden jump to their feet and erupt into cheers as The Rock’s music hits. The energy in the crowd only increases as the Great One walks out onto the stage. Rock walks to both ends of the stage, looking out to the crowd, before walking over and stopping at the top of the ramp. Rock throws his arm in the air to massive cheers from the crowd before continuing on down towards the ring. Rock bounds up the steps and climbs to the second rope, raising his arm in the air once again. Rock jumps down onto the apron and steps into the ring before pacing around a few times. Rock finally stops pacing and grabs a microphone from ringside before standing in the middle of the ring and grinning out to the crowd.]

The Rock: “FINALLY, The Rock has come back to Boston! This past Sunday night The Rock returned to New Jersey and The Rock stood toe to toe with The Deadman, The Undertaker!”

[The fans give a pop as Rock mentions Undertaker, however there are some boos from some of Rock’s fans.]

The Rock: “The last time The Rock was in Boston he took John Cena on a history lesson. Tonight, The Rock is not looking to the past. No, no, no, no. Tonight, The Rock is looking to the future. The Rock knows something that nobody else knows; The Undertaker is ready to lose.”

[There is a mixed reaction of both cheers and boos from the crowd at The Rock’s statement.]

The Rock: “The Rock knows that he can beat The Undertaker and that is exactly what The Rock is going to do. The Rock demands a rematch against The Undertaker and he wants it at Summerslam. Summerslam is in The Rock’s backyard, just like Wrestlemania was The Undertaker’s. I never lose in my backyard.”

[Rock grins into the camera as the crowd give him yet another pop.]

The Rock: “I wrestled in Miami at Wrestlemania XXVIII and I won and the exact same thing will happen when I wrestle in Los Angeles, the home of Hollywood. Undertaker, The Rock now speaks directly to you. You got lucky at Wrestlemania and you and I both know that you were only minutes away from being beaten. Those minutes which never happened at Wrestlemania will happen at Summerslam and I will BEAT YOU! IF YOU SMEEEEEELLLL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN’!”

[Rock throws down the mic as his music begins to play and the crowd erupt into cheers. Rock walks over to the corner and raises his arm in the air to even more cheers from the crowd. Rock screams into the camera that Undertaker has until the end of the night to answer before jumping down and leaving the ring. Rock heads up the ramp as the scene fades to black.]

~

[We open up in the interview area with Matt Striker standing by with a microphone in his hand. Curt Hawkins is standing by his side wearing his wrestling tights and a vest top with dark shades covering his eyes.]

Matt Striker
“Ladies and Gentlemen I am Matt Striker and joining me at this time is Curt Hawkins. Curt, I believe you have a message for somebody in the back?”

[Hawkins turns and looks at Matt, chuckling before grabbing the microphone from his hand and shoving him away. Hawkins stares into the camera and takes off his shades before speaking.]

Curt Hawkins
“This past Sunday night was Wrestlemania and surprise, surprise Curt Hawkins wasn’t on the card. I ain’t gonna lie, I was annoyed. I was annoyed until I realised that Finlay wasn’t on the card either. The Intercontinental Champion himself wasn’t on the biggest show of the year. Now this got me wondering and I couldn’t figure out why one of WWE’s Champions wouldn’t compete at Wrestlemania. Then I realised. I realised that the reason that the Intercontinental Champion didn’t compete at Wrestlemania was because the WWE knew they couldn’t have an old, washed up has been bring down the ratings on the show!”

[There are audible boos heard emanating from the crowd as Hawkins continues to speak.”

Curt Hawkins
“What the WWE have now realised is that the guy holding one of the most prestigious Championships in the past is passed his better days. Finlay was good back when he was younger but now he is a pathetic shell of his former self. What the WWE need is a young guy like me holding the belt and that is what I propose I do. I’m issuing a challenge to Finlay. I want a shot at his Intercontinental Championship because I know if I get it that I will beat him!”

[Hawkins stares into the camera for a few more moments before shoving the microphone back into the hands of Matt Striker. Hawkins then places his shades back on before strutting off down the corridor.]

~

[We come back to the ring with The Usos already inside the squared circle, ready for the upcoming match. Team Rhodes Scholars are out next to massive boos from the crowd, their newly won WWE Tag Team Championships wrapped around their waists. The two men stop on the stage and shake hands before making their way down the ramp. The two men get in the ring and hand over their Championships, ready to get the match underway.]

The Usos .versus. Team Rhodes Scholars

[Cody starts things off against Jey with the two locking up in the centre of the ring. Cody takes control by kicking Jey in the knee before shifting his weight and flipping Jey over onto his back. Cody releases his grip on Jey and gets to his feet before hitting him with a swift kick to the side. Cody proceeds to drop down on top of Jey, straddling him and laying into him with right hand after right hand. Cody gets back to his feet and smugly grins out to the crowd, gaining a few boos in return. Cody turns as Jey is getting back to his feet, helping him up the rest of the way. Cody shoves him backwards, right into the corner. Cody holds him against the turnbuckles while Damien tags himself in, stepping in the ring and kicking Jey hard in the midsection. Damien pulls Jey out of the corner and grabs his arm before pulling him in for a big clothesline. Damien drops down on top of Jey and makes the cover for a two count before Jey kicks out. Damien gets back to his feet and stands behind the rising Jey, stalking him. Jey gets to his feet and Damien grabs both of his wrists before spinning him around and nailing Terminus. Damien rolls over and hooks the leg of Jey for the 1..2..3!]

DING! DING! DING!

[The crowd continue to show their dismay as Team Rhodes Scholars are announced the victors. Damien gets back to his feet and Rhodes walks over to him, handing him his WWE Tag Team Championship. The two men then ascend opposite turnbuckles and raise their Championships in the air. Damien shouts at Lilian to bring him her microphone, which she does. Damien jumps down and joins Cody in the centre of the ring before he speaks.]

Damien Sandow
“What each and every one of you just saw was complete dominance. The dominance of Team Rhodes Scholars began this past Sunday night at Wrestlemania when Cody and I finally won the WWE Tag Team Championships. This dominance will continue and what you saw this evening was merely a sample of what is to come. You’re welcome.”

[Damien drops his microphone and joins Cody in laughing as the crowd boo the two men. Damien lays his Championship on the mat and shakes hands with Cody before Cody pulls him into a cartwheel. Damien lands on his feet and picks up his Championship before walking off with Cody.]

~

[We open up in a private locker room as Dolph Ziggler and AJ sit on a sofa, glasses of champagne in their hands. The two are snuggled up on the couch with the Money In The Bank briefcase sat in Ziggler’s lap and the Divas Championship sat in AJ’s. The two cosy up and stare at the monitor in front of them as it shows the final moments of Dolph’s match with John Cena at Wrestlemania. The two clink their glasses together and take a sip as the scene fades.]

~

[Booker T is sat on a sofa in his office, watching highlights from Wrestlemania, as the door opens and in walks Finlay with his Intercontinental Championship draped over his shoulder.]

Finlay
“I heard you wanted me for something Booker?”

[Booker gets to his feet and walks over to Finlay with a grin on his face.]

Booker T
“Yes I did playa. You see, earlier tonight Curt Hawkins made quite the statement about you and I know that a man like you would want your hands on him. That’s why I have made a tag team match between you and Sheamus against Hawkins and Mark Henry. If, in this match, Curt Hawkins pins you or makes you tap out then he will get a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. Now can you dig that playa?”

[Finlay chuckles and taps the Intercontinental Championship over his shoulder.]

Finlay
“Thanks Booker, couldn’t think of a much better solution myself.”

Booker T
“Oh yeah, there’s one more thing playa; that match is next.”

[Finlay grins and nods his head at Booker before turning and leaving the office.]

~

[We come back to the ring as Curt Hawkins makes his way out, strutting down to the ring. Curt gets in before Mark Henry makes his way out to massive boos from the crowd. Once Henry joins Curt in the ring, Finlay makes his way out with his Intercontinental Championship over his shoulder and his shillelagh in hand. Finlay stops outside of the ring as Sheamus makes his way out to massive cheers from the crowd. Once Sheamus makes his way down the ramp, a replay of Sheamus’ victory alongside Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton from Wrestlemania is shown. By the time it finishes, Sheamus and Finlay are both in the ring, standing across from their opponents.]

Curt Hawkins & Mark Henry .versus. Finlay & Sheamus

[Henry starts things off against Sheamus, with both men clearly knowing the other. The two circle each other in the ring before Sheamus makes the first move, going to lock up with Henry. Henry shoves Sheamus away, which seems to rile Sheamus. Sheamus charges at Sheamus but before he can do anything, Henry takes him down with a massive clothesline. Henry turns and screams out to the crowd as Sheamus holds the back of his head, climbing to his feet as he does. Henry turns as Sheamus gets to his feet and grabs him before tossing him into the corner. Henry charges across and squashes Sheamus against the turnbuckles. Henry takes a step back and allows Sheamus to fall down to the mat. Henry goes to continue his attack but Hawkins reaches over the top rope and tags himself in. Henry looks annoyed but reluctantly leaves the ring as Hawkins jumps over the top rope and comes down hard on Sheamus with a leg drop. Hawkins quickly hooks the leg of Sheamus but Sheamus is able to kick out before the count of two. Hawkins gets to his feet, annoyed, and pulls Sheamus to his feet, only for Sheamus to hit Hawkins with a forearm shot to the jaw. Hawkins stumbles back and Sheamus charges at him, taking him down with a double armed forearm shot. Hawkins is quickly back to his feet and Sheamus meets him with a boot to the midsection before lifting him up onto his shoulders and hitting a Samoan drop. At this point, Henry steps down off the apron and puts his arms up to signal him giving up on the match. Henry turns his back and heads up the ramp as Sheamus tags in Finlay. Finlay instantly gets Hawkins up to his feet and lifts him onto his shoulders before nailing the Celtic Cross. The fans give off a small cheer as Finlay hooks the leg for the 1..2..3!]

DING! DING! DING!

[The fans continue to cheer as Finlay and Sheamus are announced as the winners. Sheamus enters the ring and slaps hands with Finlay before the two have their arms raised in victory by the referee. Finlay is then handed his Intercontinental Championship, which he promptly raises above his head while standing above Hawkins. Finlay leans down and shouts at Hawkins that he will never hold this but Hawkins responds by kicking Finlay in the side of the head. Finlay stumbles to his feet and Hawkins jumps to his feet, most likely with the intention of attacking Finlay. However, Sheamus comes out of nowhere and takes out Hawkins with a massive Brogue Kick. The fans cheer as Sheamus and Finlay go back to celebrating their victory.]

~

[We open up backstage with Matt Striker standing with a microphone in hand and Big Show by his side.]

Matt Striker
“Big Show this past Sunday night at Wrestlemania you made your first Championship defence since winning back the World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber. However, you did no-”

[Matt Striker is cut short as Big Show grabs him by the neck and throws him back against the wall. Show gets right in Striker’s face, his hand still on his throat. Show doesn’t say a word, instead he just glares at Striker as he stares back frightened. Show eventually releases his hold and Striker slumps to the ground as Show walks off.]

~

I’M HERE TO SHOW THE WORLD! I’M HERE TO SHOW THE WORLD!

[Dolph Ziggler slowly walks out onto the stage with his Money In The Bank briefcase in his hand and is joined by AJ, who has her Divas Championship around her waist. The two stop on the stage and Dolph grabs AJ’s arm before pulling her in close for a kiss. The two finish their embrace and hook arms before making their way down the ramp. They reach the ring and Dolph walks around the side to grab a microphone while AJ struts up the steps and enters the ring. Once Dolph has a mic, he turns and jumps onto the apron before stepping into the ring.]

Dolph Ziggler
“This past Sunday night I proved each and every one of you wrong when I defeated John Cena at Wrestlemania! All of you thought that I couldn’t do it and that John Cena would easily beat me but you were wrong! At Wrestlemania I proved to everyone that I deserve to hold this Money In The Bank briefcase and that I deserve to be World Heavyweight Champion because that is the next step for me.”

[Dolph stands with a smug look on his face, slowly nodding his head as the fans jeer him.]

Dolph Ziggler
“I didn’t need to prove myself to you, in fact I don’t care whatsoever about how you people feel about me. What defeating John Cena at Wrestlemania meant to me was that I became the face of the WWE. For years it has been no secret that John Cena has been the face of this company and the man that many people believe carry the WWE. That all changed April 7th 2013 because that was the day that the future of the WWE, Dolph Ziggler, defeated John Cena at Wrestlemania and proved once and for all that he is the greatest wrestler in the WWE today!”

[This proclamation from Dolph is met by a massive amount of boos from the crowd.]

Dolph Ziggler
“You people may not like it but it is about time that you accepted it. It is not a matter of opinion, it is fact. I am now the face of the WWE and the moment that I become World Heavyweight Champion will be the moment that the WWE is finally, undeniably mine. AJ has already conquered the divas division and it is only a matter of time before I do the same here on Smackdown. Ryback is a blundering Neanderthal and it is only a matter of time before he hits himself on the head one too many times and falls down at my feet.”

[Dolph lifts up his briefcase into the air as he speaks.]

Dolph Ziggler
“What I hold in my hand grants me the opportunity to face the World Heavyweight Champion at any time I want and that is exactly what I intend to do. It may not be today and it may not be tomorrow but I assure you that at some point within these next few months I will cash in this briefcase and I will become World Heavyweight Champion. This isn’t a statement, this is a promise. Show! Off!”

[Dolph flicks his hair back and throws it out at this last statement. His music begins to play and he drops his microphone before instructing AJ that they are leaving. The two turn and head out the ring and up the ramp as the scene fades.]

[We come back on the air with Alicia Fox and Rosa Mendes in the ring, standing against the ropes while awaiting their opponents. Layla makes her way out first to cheers from the crowd, closely followed by the former Divas Champion Kaitlyn. As the two divas make their way down the ramp, a replay of Kaitlyn losing the Divas Championship to AJ at Wrestlemania is shown. When the replay comes to an end, both Kaitlyn and Layla are in the ring ready to get this started.]

Alicia Fox & Rosa Mendes .versus. Layla & Kaitlyn

[Rosa starts things off against Layla to get this match started. The two meet in the centre of the ring and Rosa begins talking smack to Layla until the point where Layla has enough and slaps Rosa across the face. Rosa stumbles back, holding her jaw and looking shocked at what just happened. Rosa lunges at Layla but Layla sidesteps her and Rosa tackles nothing but air, causing her to fall to the ground. Layla waits for Rosa to get back to her feet and turn around before taking her back down with a dropkick. Layla makes the cover on Rosa but Rosa is able to kick out after just a one count. Layla gets to her feet and drags Rosa up after her before grabbing her arm and tossing her across the ring. Rosa stops herself on the ropes and Layla charges at her for a clothesline but Rosa ducks underneath and uses Layla’s own momentum to lift her up over the rope, with Layla landing on the apron. Rosa goes to punch Layla but Layla ducks and hits Rosa in the midsection with an elbow. Rosa doubles over and Layla springboards over the rope into a sunset flip but she is unable to get Rosa all the way over as she holds onto the top rope. Rosa manages to reach over and gets the tag to Alicia, who enters the ring and instantly begins to stomp away at the grounded Layla. After repeated kicks to the chest and sternum, Alicia makes the cover on Layla for a two count. Alicia gets back to her feet and stalks Layla as she gets to her feet. Once Layla is halfway up, Alicia runs off the ropes and comes back for the Watch Yo’ Face but Layla moves out of the way and rolls over to her corner, getting the tag to Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn runs in the ring and instantly catches Alicia by surprise with a massive Spear for the 1..2..3!]

DING! DING! DING!

[The fans begin to cheer as Lilian Garcia announces Kaitlyn and Layla as the victors. Layla re-enters the ring and embraces Kaitlyn before the two have their arms raised in victory by the referee. The two then continue to celebrate as the scene fades.]

~

[The camera opens up backstage in the parking lot area, where a few cars are still pulling up. All of a sudden, the lights in the parking lot go out, engulfing it in pitch black. After a few moments of darkness, the lights come back on and standing at the entrance to the arena is Undertaker. Undertaker stands there for a few moments before slowly entering the arena.]

~

[We come back to the ring as Antonio Cesaro makes his way out to massive boos from the crowd. Antonio looks extremely annoyed following his loss at Wrestlemania this past Sunday night. Antonio makes his way down the ramp and gets in the ring before the familiar ‘FEED ME MORE’ blares through the speakers. There are massive cheers from the crowd as Ryback storms out onto the stage with his newly won World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder. Ryback makes his way down the ramp as the crowd chant out ‘FEED ME MORE’ before Ryback gets in the ring and hands over his Championship.]

Antonio Cesaro .versus. Ryback

[Ryback charges at Antonio as soon as the bell rings and goes to grab him but Antonio sees him coming and moves out of the way. Ryback stops himself from colliding with the ropes and turns, hitting Antonio with an elbow to the head as he does so. The blow causes Antonio to fall down to one knee, clearly taking a knock from the move. Ryback wastes no time in pulling Antonio to his feet and grabbing him by the head with two hands. Ryback shouts into the face of Antonio before tossing him into the corner. Ryback begins to unload on Antonio with rights and lefts until the referee begins his five count. Ryback takes a few steps back and allows Antonio to slump to the ground before charging at him in order to squash Antonio against the turnbuckle. However, Antonio moves out of the way at the last minute and waits for Ryback to bounce back before rolling him up for the 1..2.KICKOUT! Ryback is almost caught off guard but is able to power out of the pinfall attempt. Both men get back to their feet and Antonio hits Ryback with a big European uppercut, followed up by a high knee to the jaw which sends Ryback down to the mat. Antonio drops down to the mat behind Ryback and wraps his arms around the waist of Ryback, wearing him down. Antonio keeps his hold locked in tight, trying his best to give himself an advantage over his bigger opponent. Ryback, however, has different ideas as he begins to rise to his feet, getting the crowd’s backing behind him. Ryback breaks the hold and keeps a hold of the arms of Antonio, tossing him over his head. Antonio superbly turns it into a forward roll and easily gets back to his feet. Antonio turns as Ryback charges at him and catches Ryback with a swift kick to the head. Ryback stumbles backwards and Antonio charges for a big boot but Ryback catches him before throwing him back down to the mat. Ryback walks over to the corner and begins to move his shoulder up and down, leading the crowd in a ‘FEED ME MORE’ chant. Antonio gets to his feet and Ryback charges over, taking Antonio down with a massive Meat Hook clothesline. Ryback then turns to the crowd and throws out his arms while screaming out ‘FINISH HIM’. Ryback turns as Antonio gets to his feet and quickly pulls him up onto his shoulders. Ryback marches around the ring with Antonio on his shoulders before nailing the Shell Shocked for the 1..2..3!]

DING! DING! DING!

[The fans give a big pop as Ryback’s music hits and he is announced as the winner. Ryback gets to his feet and is handed his World Heavyweight Championship before the referee raises his arm in the air. Ryback throws his Championship over his shoulder and leads the crowd in another ‘FEED ME MORE’ chant as the scene fades to black.]

~

[We open up in the General Manager’s office with Booker T sitting on his sofa, watching the show. Booker is interrupted as the phone on his desk begins to ring. Booker gets up and answers the phone on loudspeaker.]

Phone
“Good evening Mr Booker, this is the personal assistant to Chairman of the WWE, Mr Vincent Kennedy McMahon. It has been requested of me that I call you to inform you that in the next few weeks Mr McMahon will be watching you very closely as he will be giving you a performance review following this past Sunday night’s Wrestlemania. The date of this performance review is currently unknown but I shall call you with any updates. You can expect to hear from me shortly, enjoy the rest of your evening sir.”

[The line goes dead and Booker is left standing, slightly shocked at the phone call, as the scene fades.]

~

[Ryback is walking down the corridor, his World Heavyweight Championship over his shoulder, and still has sweat on his brow following his match moments ago. Ryback suddenly stops walking and stares right ahead of him.]

Ryback
“What do you want?”

[The camera pans out to show Dolph Ziggler standing a few feet from Ryback, grinning. Dolph walks a bit closer to Ryback so that he is nearly in his face.]

Dolph Ziggler
“That was a good match out there Ryback and yet another victory. I did notice something though, you looked awfully tired afterwards. It was almost as if you were a bit worn down after a fight like that and I’ve got to warn you Ryback, fatigue can be a dangerous thing. Especially when you’re around me.”

[Dolph chuckles as he slowly lifts his Money In The Bank briefcase up, gently tapping it.]

Dolph Ziggler
“I’ll be seeing you around Skip.”

[Dolph laughs to himself as he slowly walks passed Ryback, who just glares after him.]

~

[As Smackdown comes back on the air, Alberto Del Rio is making his way out to massive cheers from the crowd. As Del Rio makes his way down the ramp, a replay of the ending to his match with Sheamus and Randy Orton against The Shield from Wrestlemania is shown. Once the video ends, Del Rio is in the ring awaiting his opponent. Big Show’s music hits and the mood of the crowd instantly turns to boos and jeers. Show makes his way down to the ring as a replay of him getting put through a table and causing the ring to collapse at Wrestlemania is shown. Once the video ends, Show is in the ring and this match is ready to get underway.]

Alberto Del Rio .versus. Big Show

[Big Show is clearly still frustrated following his loss at Wrestlemania and looks to take out this frustration on one of the many Wrestlemania victors, Alberto Del Rio. Show slowly makes his way over towards Del Rio, attempting to corner him, but Del Rio continues to move around, avoiding the wrath of the giant. Del Rio scurries passed Show and catches him with a swift kick to the leg of Show on his way past. This has little to no affect on Show, who throws his right arm out in a failed attack. Del Rio stands at the opposite side of the ring from Show, a mocking grin on his face. Show continues to grow frustrated with Del Rio, charging across the ring at him now but again Del Rio avoids his bigger opponent. Show gets incredibly frustrated and drops to the mat before rolling out of the ring. He kicks the announce table in frustration, causing both commentators to jump in fright. Show then storms around the side of the ring in Ricardo Rodriguez’s direction, causing Ricardo to scurry off around the side. Show continues after him, now picking up his pace. Del Rio waits for Show to turn the corner of the ring before jumping out of the bottom rope to kick Show but Show sees him coming and moves out of the way, causing Del Rio to land on his feet on the outside. Show grabs Del Rio by the throat and throws him against the side of the apron before picking him up and tossing him back in the ring. Show steps onto the apron and enters the ring over the rope, waiting for Del Rio to get back to his feet. Del Rio soon does and Show instantly meets him with a slap to the chest. Del Rio falls backwards, clutching at his redding chest. Show doesn’t give him a chance to recover, hitting him with a big punch to the midsection which sends Del Rio into the corner. Show charges at the corner and squashes Del Rio against the turnbuckles before stepping back and throwing Del Rio into the centre of the ring. Del Rio falls to the mat and begins to crawl towards the ropes but Show stomps down on Del Rio’s ankle, preventing him from moving. Show leans over and snatches Del Rio by the trunks, using them to pull Del Rio up to his feet. Show instantly grabs Del Rio by the throat but before he can lift him for the Chokeslam, Del Rio hits the arm of Show over and over again until he releases his grip. Del Rio then goes to follow it up with an enzeguri but Show blocks it and sends Del Rio back down to the mat. Del Rio eventually finds his feet but is sent sprawling back down with a big WMD from Show. Show drops down and hooks the leg of Del Rio for the 1..2..3!]

DING! DING! DING!

[There are overwhelming boos from the crowd as Show climbs back to his feet. The referee walks over to raise Show’s arm in victory but when the referee makes contact with Show, Show snaps and turns, knocking out the referee with the WMD. Show is showered with even more boos at this despicable act but Show merely shrugs it off. Show turns and leaves the ring but stops on the outside. He turns his head around and sees Ricardo Rodriguez checking on Del Rio. Show rolls back in the ring and gets to his feet, unbeknownst to Ricardo. Ricardo soon becomes aware of Show’s presence as Show grabs Del Rio’s shoulder and pulls him to his feet before spinning him around. Show grabs Ricardo by the throat before lifting him up and nailing him with the Chokeslam. Show gets back to his feet and looks at the carnage he has left in the ring before raising his arm in the air to massive boos.]

~

[For the second time tonight, the camera opens up in the General Manager’s office. This time, however, Booker T is stood in front of the camera with a grin on his face.]

Booker T
“Ladies and Gentlemen, this past Sunday night at Wrestlemania, Ryback defeate Big Show to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Now I spoke to Big Show earlier this evening and he told me that he wanted to invoke his rematch clause next week on Smackdown! Therefore, the opponent for the World Heavyweight Champion at Extreme Rules is currently unknown. That is why I have decided that, beginning next week, there will be a tournament to determine the #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules. Now can you dig that sucka?!”

[Booker continues to grin into the camera as a small amount of cheers are heard emanating from the crowd in the arena.]

~

[We come back to the ring for tonight’s Main Event; Dolph Ziggler versus Randy Orton. Randy Orton comes out first to a mixed reaction from the sold out crowd here tonight, due to his actions this past Monday night on RAW.. Orton looks out to the crowd with a small grin on his face as he slowly makes his way down the ramp and into the ring. Dolph Ziggler comes out next with AJ with both receiving a large amount of boos from the crowd. The two hook arms before making their way down the ramp. AJ walks around the side, holding both her Divas Championship and Dolph’s Money In The Bank briefcase. Dolph jumps in the ring and stands opposite Orton, ready for this match.]

Randy Orton .versus. Dolph Ziggler w/ AJ

[Orton and Ziggler start the match off the traditional way by locking up in the centre of the ring. Orton takes control by overpowering Ziggler and getting him into a headlock. Orton locks the hold in nice and tight but Ziggler manages to break free and shoves Orton away from him. Orton runs back at Ziggler but Ziggler jumps up and takes him down with a dropkick which connects right on the jaw of Orton. Ziggler quickly makes the cover on Orton but Orton kicks out after just the one count. Ziggler wastes no time in getting back to his feet and begins to viciously stomp away at the body of Orton before taking a step back and flicking his hair forward, while AJ cheers him on from ringside. Orton is soon back to his feet but Ziggler is waiting to meet him with a boot to the midsection, followed up by a forearm shot to the face. Orton backs into the ropes and Ziggler uses them to attempt to propel Orton across the ring but Orton turns it around and sends Ziggler reeling in his place. Ziggler rebounds off of the ropes and runs straight into a clothesline from Orton. Orton throws his arms out and stalks Ziggler as he begins to rise to his feet. Ziggler gets up and Orton floors him with a second clothesline. Orton doesn’t allow Ziggler to rise himself this time, instead dragging him to his feet himself. Orton lifts Ziggler up before power slamming him back down to the mat. Orton runs off the ropes and comes back with a big knee drop to the head of Ziggler. Orton then makes the cover but Ziggler kicks out before the count of two. Orton gets back to his feet, pulling Ziggler up with him. The moment both men are on their feet, Orton snatches up Ziggler and hits him with a snap scoop powerslam. Orton jumps back to his feet, clearly feeling the adrenaline rush. Ziggler slowly stumbles to his feet and Orton grabs him before throwing him over the top rope but he ensures he remains on the apron. Orton brings Ziggler down and pulls him in via the middle rope. Orton has him set up perfectly for the rope-hung DDT but Ziggler is able to push himself forward and get back on his feet. Ziggler gets free of Orton’s grasp by rolling behind him and getting him in a roll up for the 1..2.KICKOUT! Orton is able to just kick out before the referee counts the three. Both men are quick in getting to their feet but it is Orton who gets behind Ziggler and hits the inverted headlock backbreaker. Orton gets to his feet and spreads his arms out, getting the crowd cheering. Orton then turns and drops to the mat, pounding away at it. Orton rises simultaneously with Ziggler to the point where both men on their feet. Orton throws his arms out as Ziggler has his back to him but the moment Ziggler turns to face him, Orton jumps for the RKO. Ziggler blocks it however and shoves him away before jumping up and nailing the Zig Zag. There is a mixed crowd reaction as Ziggler hooks the leg of Orton for the 1..2..3!]

DING! DING! DING!

[Ziggler climbs to his feet as Lilian announces him as the winner. AJ enters the ring to join him and hands him his briefcase before raising his arm in the air. The two embrace and have a celebratory kiss as Orton rolls out of the ring. Orton leans against the apron on the outside, clearly annoyed at his loss. He turns and storms up the ramp, ignoring the crowd as he makes his way backstage.]

REST IN PEACE!

[The moment Smackdown comes back on the air, the music of Undertaker hits and every single member of the crowd jumps to their feet and scream out with cheers. The lights in the arena dim and an eerie, purple glow sets in around the arena. Smoke begins to bellow out from the stage, making its way down the ramp and around the ringside area. Eventually, Undertaker slowly walks out onto the stage to massive cheers from the crowd. As Undertaker makes his way down the ramp, highlights of his thrilling match with The Rock at Wrestlemania is shown. When that video finishes, a replay of The Rock’s challenge to Undertaker from earlier tonight is shown. When that replay is finished, we come back live to Smackdown where Undertaker is standing in the middle of the ring. He walks over to the far ropes and is given a microphone before he makes his way back to the centre of the ring. He lifts the microphone to his mouth but is interrupted before he is able to speak.]

IF YOU SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN’!

[There is another massive pop as The Rock storms out onto the stage. Undertaker looks up at him, a glare on his face. Rock wastes no time pandering to the crowd and instead makes his way down the ramp, grinning at Undertaker in the ring his entire way. Rock reaches the bottom of the ramp and walks around the side to grab a microphone before turning and rolling in the ring. Rock gets to his feet and remains at a distance from Undertaker, just leaning against the ropes.]

The Rock
“Before you ask Undertaker, The Rock is out here because he demands an answer! Undertaker you have taken long enough to get your candy ass out here so The Rock is not gonna wait any longer for an answer! Undertaker, will you face The Rock at Summerslam?”

[There is a massive pop from the crowd as Rock stares at Undertaker, waiting for a reply. After a few moments of a staredown between the two, Undertaker lifts the microphone to his mouth.]

Undertaker
“No.”

[There are massive boos from this Knoxville crowd at the response of Undertaker.]

The Rock
“Hold on a second everybody, The Rock had a feeling this might happen. You see Undertaker, I knew that you would be a little sceptical of facing me at Summerslam because you know that I will beat you if we do face off. But Undertaker are you really willing to let down the MILLIONS...”

Crowd
“AND MILLIONS!”

The Rock
“...of not only The Rock’s fans but every single fan in the WWE Universe? Are you willing to turn down the biggest match of your career? You do realise Undertaker that if you say no to this match then you are all but confirming my claim that you should have lost at Wrestlemania. So The Rock is gonna ask you again, will you face him at Summerslam?”

[Rock stares deep into the eyes of Undertaker, a grin on his face and he clearly is expecting the answer he wants this time. However, Undertaker merely turns his back on Rock and steps out of the ring. Undertaker walks down the steps and makes his way up the ramp as Rock stands in the ring, shaking his head. The crowd are showering Undertaker with boos by this point as he stops on the stage and looks over his shoulder, shaking his head at Rock. Undertaker then disappears backstage as Rock stands in the ring, shouting for him to come back out. Suddenly, somebody slides in the ring behind Rock and spins him around before jumping up and nailing him with the RKO. Randy Orton climbs back to his feet and looks down at the body of Rock as the crowd sit in shock – some booing and some cheering. Orton slowly knees down and picks up the microphone that Rock dropped when he fell. Orton leans over so that he is right next to Rock’s ear before speaking into the mic.]

Randy Orton
“The legend killer is back.”

[This statement draws a massive pop from the crowd, who clearly understand the meaning behind it. Orton throws the mic down on top of Rock before standing back up straight. Orton begins to laugh away to himself before stepping out of the ring and leaving through the crowd. The camera shows Rock, who is struggling to get back to his feet in the ring, as Smackdown goes off the air.]

Friday Night Smackdown | | The Way It Should Be Empty
PostSubject: Re: Friday Night Smackdown | | The Way It Should Be   Friday Night Smackdown | | The Way It Should Be EmptyTue Apr 30, 2013 6:51 pm

“Then. Now. Forever.”
April 26th 2013

BORN 2 RUN!

[Smackdown comes on the air with pyro exploding all over the stage. The London, England fans jump to their feet in cheers, holding up multiple signs; the majority of which are split down the middle about Randy Orton’s actions last week. The camera cuts to the commentary booth where Josh Mathews sits with JBL by his side. The two welcome us to the show as the camera shows the stage with the usual UK set-up; red phone box, union jacks ad London taxi.]

FEED ME MORE!

[The fans in the arena jump to their feet, cheering, as the World Heavyweight Champion storms out onto the stage. Ryback has his usual vest on with the World Heavyweight Championship hanging over his shoulder. Ryback slowly makes his way down the ramp as the fans chant ‘FEED ME MORE’. Ryback reaches the ring and grabs a microphone from ringside before jumping in.]

[b">|Ryback|
“Tonight I feast upon The Big Show. At Wrestlemania I defeated The Big Show and became World Heavyweight Champion. Tonight I beat him again. The Big Show is nothing but a stepping stone on Ryback’s path to greatness. The Big Show wi-”

WELL IT’S A BIG SHOW!

[The fans instantly begin to boo as Big Show walks out onto the stage. Big Show looks down the ramp and gives Ryback a smug grin before making his way down the ramp. Show reaches the ring and picks up a microphone before stepping up onto the apron and entering the ring over the top rope.]

Big Show
“Ryback I came out here right now because I needed to save you from embarrassing yourself. You may have beaten me at Wrestlemania but you and I both know that you got lucky. If that hadn’t been a Tables Match then you would never have beaten me and, right now, I’d be standing before you as the World Heavyweight Champion.”

[Big Show’s proclamation is met by a massive amount of boos from the crowd but Show merely ignores them.]

Big Show
“I defeated five other men inside the Elimination Chamber back in February to win that World Heavyweight Championship just over a month after I lost it to that idiot Alberto Del Rio. This time, however, it won’t take me as long to reclaim what is rightfully mine. You won the World Heavyweight Championship just 12 days ago Ryback and it is at 12 days that your Championship reign comes to an end.”

REALEZA!

[Neither Big Show nor Ryback have a chance to continue this discussion further as they are interrupted by the familiar music of Alberto Del Rio. Alberto Del Rio walks out onto the stage wearing a suit and with a massive grin on his face. Del Rio panders to the crowd as he slowly makes his way down the ramp. He picks up a microphone which was resting on the steps before entering the ring, making sure to keep his distance from Show and Ryback.]

Alberto Del Rio
“Big Show, ese, shut your mouth. You’re right, you did win the World Heavyweight Championship in February but you did not defeat me. In fact, nobody defeated me. If it were not for The Shield then I would still be World Heavyweight Champion, not either of you two. I got my revenge against The Shield at Wrestlemania and now I am focused on that World Heavyweight Championship. Tonight I am in the Tournament to determine who will face the World Heavyweight Champion at Extreme Rules and I don’t care which one of you is the Champion come then because I will beat either one of you.”

HALLELUJAH!

[The fans instantly begin to boo as Team Rhodes Scholars walk out onto the stage with their WWE Tag Team Championships around their waists. The two shake hands on the stage before making their way down the ramp. Damien Sandow already has a microphone in his hand, holding it as if it were a wine glass, as the two enter the ring.]

Damien Sandow
“Ladies and Gentlemen if I may beg your indulgence for just a moment please. You three ignoramuses need to hold your tongues and listen intently to what I am about to say. Myself and my best friend, Cody Rhodes, will also be participating in the Tournament to crown the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. It is a foregone conclusion that it will be one of us who challenges for the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules. Why? Because two is greater than one.”

[Damien passes the microphone to Cody while smugly grinning over at the men in the ring.]

Cody Rhodes
“Most people may be intimidated by you guys – Ryback and Big Show – but Damien and I aren’t most people. Tonight I defeat Alberto Del Rio and go through to the Quarter Finals of this tournament as will Damien when he defeats Ezekiel Jackson. Neither of the two of us care who is World Heavyweight Champion come Extreme Rules. Big Show I have defeated you countless times and as for you, Ryback, you are nothing but a Neanderthal who needs taught a lesson.”

[Ryback, clearly irate at the comment made by Cody, begins to storm over to Cody but stops as there is yet another interruption.]

ITS A SHAME FOR THEY LOST THEIR HEAD!

[The majority of this English crowd erupt into boos as Sheamus walks out onto the stage but there are still some of his fans cheering from the crowd. Sheamus beats his chest a few times before spreading his arms out and making his way down the ramp. Sheamus picks up a microphone from ringside before storming up the steps and entering the ring.]

|Sheamus|ana]“Fellas what’s with all this fuss? Sure, there is a tournament coming up with the winner challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules but why are you all out here tonight?”

[b]|Cody Rhodes|

“We are out here for the same reason you are Sheamus, to make a mark. We are out here to-”

Sheamus
“I’m not out here to make a mark, fella, I am out here to shut you lot up.”

IF YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES!

[The loudest pop so far goes to Captain Charisma as Christian walks out onto the stage with a massive grin on his face. Christian raises his hand to above his eyes and stares out at the crowd before making his way down the ramp. Christian picks up a microphone from ringside before walking up the steps and stepping into the ring.]

Christian
“Sheamus, don’t lie – everyone out here is out here to make a mark. Everyone is out here to make a mark because each and every one of us wants a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship. Only one man will get this shot and I guarantee you that it won’t be any of you lot. I returned to the WWE only a few weeks prior to Wrestlemania and at Wrestlemania I came close to winning the Money In The Bank Ladder Match but I fell short.”

Big Show
“What the hell has any of this got to do with the World Heavyweight Championship tournament or my match tonight against Ryback?”

Christian
“If you shut up and listen then I will tell you.”

[Show is clearly annoyed by Christian’s tone as he lunges at Christian and grabs him by the throat. Show begins to scream in the face of Christian, sparking the rest of the men in the ring to begin arguing. A fight is clearly imminent as all of the men grow louder in their argument.]

CAN YOU DIG IT SUCKA?

[There is a large cheer from the crowd as the Smackdown General Manager, Booker T, walks out onto the stage. Booker’s music quickly cuts as he speaks into the microphone in his hand.]

Booker T
“All of you stop your fighting right now! Fighting is for in a match, not for whenever you god damn feel like it! That is why we are going to have a match right now! As you have all mentioned, tonight the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament begins and the first match will be right now! Sheamus, you will take on Antonio Cesaro so, playas, the rest of you can get out of the ring!”

C’EST UN MIRCALE!

[There are massive boos from the crowd as Antonio Cesaro makes his way out onto the stage. As he walks down the ramp, all of the guys in the ring with the exception of Sheamus head out of the ring. Antonio gets in and the guys head up the ramp to the back, arguing amongst themselves on the way up.]

Sheamus .versus. Antonio Cesaro ~ World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Round 1

WINNER: SHEAMUS

~

[We open up in the backstage area as Randy Orton makes his way down a corridor, his bag slung over his shoulder. Orton slowly makes his way down the corridor before Matt Striker runs over to him with a microphone in his hand. Orton stops and stares out into the distance as Matt Striker speaks.]

Matt Striker
“Randy, last week you shocked the world when you hit The Rock with the RKO. I think I speak for everyone when I ask you: why?”

[A small, sly grin slowly spreads across the face of Orton. He looks down at Matt and chuckles before walking away from him and continuing down the corridor.]

~

[The camera cuts back to the ringside area, with Josh Mathews and JBL on commentary.]

Josh Mathews
“Well John it looks like Randy isn’t ready to talk about his actions last week but I hope he is up to speaking later tonight.”

|JBL|ana]“Well he better be Josh because everyone wants answers and that is exactly what Randy has promised to give in the middle of that ring tonight.”

[b]|Josh Mathews|

“That and much more to come later tonight folks but right now let’s go back to the ring as we have our second match in the first round of the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament.”

[The camera cuts back round to the ring as Ezekiel Jackson make shis way out to a small amount of cheers from the crowd. Once he is in the ring, Damien Sandow makes his way out to the ring with Cody Rhodes by his side. Damien gets in the ring and is ready to get this one underway.]

Ezekiel Jackson .versus. Damien Sandow w/ Cody Rhodes ~ World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Round 1

WINNER: DAMIEN SANDOW

~

[Dolph Ziggler and AJ are walking down the corridor with their arms hooked, Dolph carrying his Money In The Bank briefcase and AJ wearing her Divas Championship around her waist.]

AJ
“You know Dolph, if you cashed in tonight then both of us would be Champions. What a better time to cash in than tonight, since whoever wins will have taken a beating in their match.”

Dolph Ziggler
“I know AJ but I could make history if I kept this briefcase until the last day I was able to cash it in. You know I am a show off AJ and what better way to show off than to make history.”

[AJ goes to reply but stops herself as she spots Layla in front of them. AJ stops walking, as does Dolph, and glares over at Layla.]

AJ
“Can I help you?”

Layla
“To give a warning. Wrestling isn’t for little girls AJ and that is exactly what you are, wrestling is for competitors. I’m coming after your Championship AJ and my quest begins tonight when I defeat you in our mixed tag match. See you out there AJ.”

[Layla turns and walks away, leaving Dolph to calm the now irate AJ.]

~

[We open up in the General Manager’s office with Booker T, who is standing talking to a younger guy who is wearing a suit and has an afro. Booker stops talking when he notices the camera and turns to it with a grin on his face.]

Booker T
“Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen. I would like to introduce to you my new assistant here on Smackdown – replacing Theodore Long – Xavier Woods.”

[Xavier takes a step forward and stands by the side of Booker.]

Xavier Woods
“In my first act as Assistant General Manager of Smackdown I am making tonight’s Main Event between Ryback and Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship a No Disqualification Match! Also, the loser of the match will take part in the Tournament to determine the #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules. Good luck tonight gentlemen.”

[Booker pats Xavier on the back before continuing their conversation as the scene fades.]

~

[We come back to the ring with Layla already inside with her tag team partner for tonight, the returning Ted DiBiase. Dolph Ziggler makes his way out with AJ next to massive heat from the crowd. The two make their way down the ramp before getting in the ring, ready to compete.]

Layla & Ted DiBiase .versus. Dolph Ziggler & AJ Lee

WINNERS: DOLPH ZIGGLER & AJ LEE

~

[The screen goes black for a second before a slight flickering begins. Eventually, the video begins and a camera slowly looks over a wall that has many names on it; with the likes of Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Ryback and The Great Khali. When the camera reaches the end of the wall, Mark Henry is standing looking at the names with a smug grin across his face. Mark Henry turns to face the camera and speaks – as he does so, clips are shown of him taking out many of the names which we saw on the wall.]

Mark Henry
“For the past two years the Hall of Pain has been open. I have personally inducted almost every Superstar on the roster. I shall not rest until my list is complete. I will continue to destroy everyone who comes in my path. I don’t care who you are or where you come from, if you cross paths with the World’s Strongest Man then you will be inducted into the Hall Of Pain!”

[As Mark Henry stops speaking, the video shows him hitting a final World’s Strongest Slam on The Great Khali. The video slowly fades to black before the words “HALL OF PAIN” are etched on the screen.]

~

[Team Rhodes Scholars both stand backstage in the interview area on their own, their WWE Tag Team Championships over their shoulders and microphones in their hands.]

Damien Sandow
“Earlier this evening I defeated the imbecile Ezekiel Jackson and will now go through to the Quarter Finals where I will win once again. However, we must first witness the victory of my cohort Cody Rhodes later this evening when he takes on the disrespectful former World Heavyweight Champion that is Alberto Del Rio.”

Cody Rhodes
“Alberto seems to think that he is better than everyone, including me, but this is not the case. I may not have yet held a World Championship but that does not mean that Alberto Del Rio is any better than me. I am now a five time Tag Team Champion; along with being a two time Intercontinental Champion. So for you idiots out there, I have held seven Championships while I have been a part of the WWE. What about Alberto Del Rio? Damien, do tell me how many Championships my opponent for tonight has held.”

Damien Sandow
“You know it is funny that you should ask that Cody because I actually took the liberty to check this earlier this evening. Alberto Del Rio has held a total of three Championships in the WWE but since he won one of those off of a Money In The Bank cash in and lost it just a month later, I think we will just keep it at two Championships.”

Cody Rhodes
“My point has been proven. Alberto Del Rio may be a former World Champion but he hasn’t even held half the number of Championships in the WWE than I have. Alberto I will beat you tonight and I will advance in this Tournament. Come Extreme Rules, the World Heavyweight Championship will be in the possession of Team Rhodes Scholars.”

Damien Sandow
“You’re welcome.”

~

[Sin Cara makes his way out when Smackdown comes back on the air, gaining a relatively large amount of cheers from the crowd. Christian comes out next to another massive pop from this capacity crowd in London. Christian makes his way down the ramp before getting in the ring, ready for his first match since Wrestlemania.]

Sin Cara .versus. Christian ~ World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Round 1

WINNER: CHRISTIAN

COMMERCIAL

HEY! NOTHING YOU CAN SAY!

[There are a mixture of both cheers and boos as Randy Orton slowly walks out onto the stage to his old theme music. Orton stands on the stage in a blue shirt and black trousers, looking out to the crowd. Orton slowly begins walking down the ramp as the boos slowly begin to increase throughout the crowd – due to a replay of Orton taking out The Rock last week is shown on the titantron. Orton reaches the ring and slowly walks up the steps before entering the ring via the middle rope. Orton walks over to the far away ropes and requests a microphone, which he is promptly given. Orton turns and walks over to the centre of the ring, looking out to the crowd with a sly look to him before finally raising the microphone to his mouth.]

Randy Orton
“Because I can. That is my answer to all of you. All of you that asked me why I did what I did last week, there is your answer. I saw an opportunity and I took it, there is no other explanation either required or available. Last week The Rock and The Undertaker once again decided to take centre spotlight, while I was stuck losing to that idiot Dolph Ziggler. I refuse to let this happen again. From this point onwards Smackdown is my show. Not Ryback’s. Not Big Show’s. Not Dolph Ziggler’s. And certainly not The Rock’s.”

[The crowd are clearly against the statement made by Orton, as they show their disagreement through massive jeers.]

Randy Orton
“Next Friday I take part in the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament and, mark my words, I will win. I will win then I will continue winning until I defeat Ryback at Extreme Rules for the World Heavyweight Championship. After that, my diary is free. Rock, if you are the man you say you are then I challenge you to come meet me in the ring after Extreme Rules and – if I’m feeling generous – then I will even give you a shot at my World Heavyweight Championship.”

[There is a surprising pop from the crowd at this ‘offer’ from Orton.]

Randy Orton
“And when I am done with The Rock then I know exactly what I am going to do. Rock, you wanted to face The Undertaker at Summerslam but that isn’t going to happen. You want to know why Rock? Because at Summerslam I will be taking on The Undertaker. Once I have dealt with the two of them, I will ensure that any other has-been who tries to steal my spotlight will be dealt a swift punishment that will make them think twice before ever coming back to the WWE again.”

[Orton gives the crowd a small grin before making his final statement.]

Randy Orton
“The legend killer is back.”

[Orton drops his microphone and continues grinning as his music hits. He turns and leaves the ring, heading backstage as the crowd continue with their mixed reaction.]

COMMERCIAL

[Smackdown comes back on the air with Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow in the ring, deep in conversation. Alberto Del Rio comes out next with Ricardo Rodriguez by his side. Del Rio makes his way down the ramp before getting in the ring and standing opposite Rhodes.]

Cody Rhodes .versus. Alberto Del Rio ~ World Heavyweight Championship Tournament Round 1

WINNER: ALBERTO DEL RIO

~

[We open up in the General Manager’s office with Xavier Woods sitting in the chair behind the desk, with Booker T noticeably absent. Curt Hawkins walks in and takes a seat on the desk, staring at Woods.]

Curt Hawkins
“Look, Xavier, let me be straight with you. Last week I should have won my match but Finlay cheated and won. What I am asking of you is for another chance – another chance to beat Finlay. This time, though, I want the match to be for the Intercontinental Championship.”

Xavier Woods
“You know what Curt, since I’m such a nice guy I am going to give you that match. If you earn it. In two weeks we are holding a #1 Contender Match for the Intercontinental Championship and if you win then you will face Finlay at Extreme Rules. Next week, however, you will be facing Finlay in the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament.”

Curt Hawkins
“You already make a much better GM than Books.”

[Hawkins hops down off the desk, chuckling away to himself, before leaving the office.]

~

[Ryback is heading down the corridor in his ring gear and a vest, his World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. He reaches the area just behind the stage, ready to head out for his match, but he stops walking as he spots Dolph Ziggler seated on a crate just outside the entrance. Ryback stops and stares over at Ziggler, who has his Money In The Bank briefcase resting on his lap. Ziggler pats the briefcase while giving Ryback a wink, as Ryback continues on his way out.]

~

[Ryback makes his way out to a massive amount of cheers from the crowd. He makes his way down the ramp and hands his Championship over to the referee before Big Show begins making his way out. Big Show is clearly not liked by this London crowd as they give him the biggest heat of the night so far as he makes his way down the ramp. He gets in the ring and glares over at Ryback, ready to get the match underway.]

I didn't have time to write out the matches for the show, as will most likely be the case for this Friday's show as well.

Hopefully things we will be back to normal next week.

PostSubject: Re: Friday Night Smackdown | | The Way It Should Be   Friday Night Smackdown | | The Way It Should Be EmptyMon May 06, 2013 10:44 am

Apologies for such a late show, I have been extremely busy with school the last week. I will just have to give quick results for last week's show and hopefully I can write out this week's show in full for this Friday.

Again, apologies.
